Job Title:
Trainee Solicitor
Services:
I completed my undergraduate degree in Law with Criminology in Birmingham where during my final year I completed an internship with a pro bono clinic in California, assisting on death penalty cases.
Before joining private practice, I spent several years in the public sector, working with London’s local authorities to prevent homelessness and review housing decisions to reduce legal challenges and ensure fair decision making.
Following the decision to change career, I pursued a Master’s combined with the Legal Practice Course at BPP University in 2022, balancing full-time work and study, and graduated with Distinction in 2024.
Throughout my studies, I volunteered with several legal clinics focused on serving the community and helping to address unmet legal needs.
I joined Whitehead Monckton in October 2024, as a Trainee Solicitor in the Tax and Estate Planning team based in the Maidstone office.
Outside of work, I am an adventurer at heart—I love to travel, explore diverse cultures, and try cuisines from around the world. Recent adventures have seen me flying a plane, kayaking through caves, and sandboarding. When not on the move, I enjoy Columbo re-runs, crafting, and diving into interior design projects, often juggling a few creative “masterpieces”—though their artistic merit may be up for debate!
