Services:
I graduated with a degree in English in 1993 and studied for the GDL and LPC in Guildford, Surrey. My training contract was also in Surrey and I qualified as a solicitor in 1998 moving to practice in Kent in 2000. I joined Whitehead Monckton’s family law team in April 2013 for the opening of the Canterbury Office. In April 2019 I became an Associate Director.
I have been a family lawyer for all my professional career and have developed a particular specialism in cases involving pensions and am a solutions focused lawyer with a proven track record in resolving complex financial settlements involving multiple properties, investments and businesses.
I am a Resolution Accredited specialist and a member of the Law Society‘s Family Law Panel and I trained as a collaborative lawyer in 2014. I actively promote mediation, round table meetings and the collaborative law approach to family law. I am a member of the East Kent collaborative law “around the table group”.

I am a past President of Kent Law Society, having been Vice President and prior to that Honorary Secretary of this Society for 8 years. I have appeared on Radio Kent talking about my work with Kent Law Society. I am also a former President of the Medway Law Society and I am a current member of Resolution and Kent Resolution and the Canterbury POD.
I became Head of the Family Team in October 2022 and have responsibility for the management of the team.
I enjoy dog walking for fitness and to help moderate my love of good food and good wine! I am often to be found socialising with my friends and family and I also enjoy watching films and going to the theatre and cinema in my leisure time.
