I started my career working for my father in his family law practice, then worked as a trainee solicitor at Boodle Hatfield in Oxford, qualifying in London in 2002, and moving to Blandy & Blandy in Reading and then Pannone in Manchester. I have a degree in Geography, and postgraduate conversion qualifications in in Law and Psychology. I am an experienced Collaborative Practitioner. I became a Director at Whitehead Monckton in July 2016.
I am a committed Resolution Member, having sat on the National Committee from 2013 to 2016, and former chair of the Training and Learning Committee and current Trustee of the John Cornwell Foundation. I am a national Resolution trainer of psychotherapists and family solicitors, working on the Family Consultant, Collaborative Foundation Training and Negotiation Skills courses to promote interdisciplinary working so that families are provided with lasting, meaningful solutions to family challenges which arise.

I used to be a wreck diver but now I have children, I enjoy watching films, cooking and being a Dad. I’ve completed the Manchester 10k for Cancer Research and the London to Brighton Bike Ride for the British Heart Foundation.
