Profile

Having first been called to the Bar Alex commenced legal practice in 2002. He has worked for major UK national and international legal practices as well as working in-house for a large hotel company as well as in house for 2 major UK telecommunications operators.

He undertakes a wide range of commercial property work with a particular emphasis on:

Acquisition and disposal of commercial property (freehold and leasehold)
Acquisition and disposal of leisure property (hotels, pubs, restaurants, golf clubs, freehold and leasehold)
Commercial Landlord and Tenant
Property portfolio management
Land development
Secured lending
Franchising
Telecommunications (wayleave, rooftop and greenfield agreements)

He also specialises in alcohol licensing and acts for both individual and corporate clients. He applies licensing experience to leisure property transactions and is also able to act on behalf of clients in relation to all types of licensing applications and hearings. He is fluent in German.
