Whitehead Monckton’s corporate team have advised longstanding client, Seventeen Group Limited, on a record four acquisitions in a month.
Seventeen Group has further expanded its offering with the acquisitions of insurance brokers UK & Global Insurance Brokers Limited, Nelson Insurance Services Limited, RRM Firm Limited trading as Nairn Insurance Services and B.T.I.C Limited.
The acquisitions added over £7m premium to Seventeen Group’s business and takes their staff count to over 490 across 28 offices. Group chief executive Paul Anscombe commented “having a long term plan for Seventeen Group has certainly persuaded some vendors that we present a good home for their clients and staff. This can compare favourably to some alternatives, which may take a small business in a totally different direction via subsequent transactions“.
Whitehead Monckton’s team was led by Head of Corporate, Daniel Tozer, who has a longstanding relationship with Seventeen Group. Speaking of the acquisitions, Tozer said, “our ability to close these deals smoothly and efficiently is testament to the strength of our relationship with Seventeen Group and our ability to streamline processes and work collaboratively with our counterparts”.
Tozer was assisted by his cross specialism deal team comprised of Jamie Crocker, Jessica Elphick, Simon Moore, Fraser Rickman, Antonio Fletcher and Lydia Ashman.
