Whitehead Monckton’s corporate team have advised the shareholders of Skydive (Headcorn) Limited (and related operator of the aircraft Headcorn Parachute Club Limited) (“Skydive Headcorn”) in the sale of the company’s entire issued share capital to Goskydive.com Limited (“GoSkydive”).
Skydive Headcorn has been operating out of Headcorn Airfield for many years, and has built an outstanding reputation offering skydiving activities for jumpers at the heart of Kent. This deal was the result of the sellers’ hard work and dedication over the years.
GoSkydive is the UK’s premier operator for tandem skydiving experiences, known for its exceptional customer service and focus on safety. Currently operating from Old Sarum Airfield near Salisbury and from Swansea airport, the addition of a base at Headcorn Airfield will enable GoSkydive to offer convenient access for jumpers throughout the South East.
Whitehead Monckton’s team was led by corporate senior associate Haggai Peri who advised the sellers. Speaking of the sale, Haggai Peri said, “It was a real pleasure to work with the founder and managing director David Parker, and to assist with the exit process. Our ability to understand and advise on corporate aspects, together with our experience in liaising with other legal specialists as well as accountants and tax advisers, enables us to deliver complex corporate transactions and in this case was instrumental in seeing this transaction through to completion. In the buyer GoSkydive the sellers found an excellent continuity avenue for the members of the club and more widely for the skydiving community in Kent and the South East.”
It was a pleasure to have Haggai Peri and the team at Whitehead Monckton advising us on the exit process. Always responding quickly with clear and helpful advice to assist our decision making, their commitment, professional competence and expertise were invaluable. Haggai’s commercial and detail-focused approach helped with resolving any issues and enabled the transaction to progress and complete to the agreed timeline. I am delighted that with Whitehead Monckton’s guidance I was able to successfully complete the exit process, and my fellow directors were able to join and continue forward with GoSkydive.
