Corporate team have advised Seventeen Group Limited on two acquisitions in a week

Whitehead Monckton’s corporate team have advised Seventeen Group Limited on two acquisitions in a week.

Seventeen Group has substantially strengthened and expanded its Scottish presence with the acquisitions of Glasgow based businesses CCRS Brokers Limited and Broker Scotland.

CCRS was established in 2008 by Neil Campbell and today employs 30 staff in Glasgow handling gross written premium of £13.5m.

Broker Scotland was established in 2013 by Scott and Louise Campbell and handles around £4.75m in gross written premium.

The previous owners will remain in the business and continue to operate out of their existing offices in Glasgow.

Seventeen Group now employs over 350 staff across 12 offices within the UK and has over 80 staff in three locations in Scotland.

Whitehead Monckton’s team was led by Head of Corporate, Daniel Tozer, who has a longstanding relationship with Seventeen Group Limited.

Speaking of the acquisition, Daniel Tozer said, “I am delighted to see these deals cross the line and for Seventeen Group to make significant growth in the Scottish market.”
