Whitehead Monckton’s corporate team has revealed its role in advising Seventeen Group Limited on three acquisitions within the past two months, as the insurance broker continues its growth strategy.
Seventeen Group has acquired AIM Risk Services Limited, McGregor Insurance Services Limited and Mint Insurance Brokers Limited. The specialist brokers are based in London and Sussex and have a broad range of specialisms ranging from country and field sports, agricultural insurance, insurance for the travel industry, property and professional indemnity insurance.
The three brokers complement Seventeen Group’s existing offering and grow its gross written premium by over £17 million. Seventeen Group now employs over 350 staff across 12 offices within the UK.
Whitehead Monckton’s team was led by Head of Corporate, Daniel Tozer, who has a longstanding relationship with Seventeen Group. Speaking of the acquisitions, Tozer said, “It’s excellent to get these strategic acquisitions over the line as part of Seventeen Group’s continued growth plan which sees three more great businesses able to expand their service offering to their clients as part of a wider group”.
Tozer was assisted by his wider cross specialism deal team comprised of Suzan Petrosian, Antonio Fletcher and Lydia Ashman.
