Structure & Operations

Whitehead Monckton is a Limited Company where the previous Partners are now Directors of the firm. Christopher Longden is Managing Director and reports into the Management Board.  Together with the Executive Board, Chris manages the firm in delivering the strategic plan.  Whitehead Monckton is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (No: 608279).

At an operational level, we have three areas, Business Legal ServicesPersonal Legal Services and Property Law.  Each area has smaller specialist teams focusing on particular areas of the law e.g for individual clients we have a family law team and a team specialising in succession planning incorporating wills and trusts. The lawyers are divided into relevant departments, each headed by a Director/Associate Director. The heads of department manage and monitor the performance of their respective teams to successfully achieve performance targets. The emphasis for the departments is one of specialism, ensuring that we can provide the very best comprehensive service to our clients, no matter what their needs.

Each department also has its own integrated support team to provide our clients with a seamlessly efficient administrative service.

We are of a sufficient size to have a specialist team of managers within Central Services providing support to the business with accounts, human resources, marketing and information technology provided centrally.  This enables the lawyers and their support staff to concentrate on providing you with the excellent service you require.
